Q. On what surfaces does the Diamon-Fusion® process work?

A
.
All silica based materials. This includes all glass, tile, porcelain, and granite

Q. Why not marble or metals?

A. The molecules do not contain silicon dioxide, which is
required for the molecular bond to occur.

Q. How is the process applied?

A. The process is called "chemical vapor deposition". The surface to be fused goes through a cleaning process and is then coated with a liquid catalyst (in cases of high humidity no catalyst is necessary). A specially designed machine pumps out a "fog-like" vapor containing the special chemicals needed to make the molecular change. The process happens in a split-second and is immediately usable. All chemicals become inert within a few seconds.

Q. Will I still need to clean my glass, tile, porcelain and granite?

A. Yes you will. The process REDUCES cleaning time it does not eliminate it. For example, many people who used to have to squeegee every time they took a shower for fear of hard water stains, can now relax. A simple wipe down with a wet towel and polish with a dry one, once every few days, is one way to keep their glass clean and looking like new. If anything begins to stick, a quick once-over with a soft soap type of body scrubber and the fusion is revitalized!

Q. It sounds expensive, is it?

A. Absolutely not. In fact, quite the contrary is true. You wouldn't paint without priming the surface and you wouldn't put in an expensive stone floor without sealing it before you moved in, Why then would anyone not imbed Diamon-Fusion® into a surface that is prone to damage when by doing so, the length of the product's life is extended so dramatically? Not taking into account the added life of the actual product, the time savings alone is worth the price.

Q. Can I use my regular cleaners to clean the surfaces?

A. You could, but you won't need to. If they are maintained properly, the surfaces won't ever need a cleaner more caustic than vinegar or lemon juice. Usually they aren't even needed. This makes the process truly a "Green" one. People won't need to use caustic chemicals, which would normally find their way in to the water supply or ocean, or worse yet be breathed in during application.

Q. Will it harm my High Performance or Insulated Glass? What about the surrounding frames?

A. Actually, it can't. The process does involve corrosive chemicals, however, they become inert within seconds and don't physically have the ability to cause damage in the infinitesimal amount of time they are active.

Q. Can the process be done at my home or office on existing surfaces?

A. Yes it can. That's one of the fusion's major benefits, the ability to do the process in the field. This allows us to restore old surfaces and then coat them to keep them looking new, eliminating the need to replace the old glass or stained enclosure or window.
